I am a junior, but every semester I experience a time management problem. I go to school full time and work only part time, which still gives me enough time left to study, but I just feel like I don't use that time efficiently because of poor time management.
The result of this time management issue makes my college life a little harder, because instead of short relaxed studying cessions, I do longer tensed study cessions because I did not plan and did not start studying for an exam two weeks earlier, but only a week or less before the exam.
I hope that through this class and the blog comments, I will be able to learn how to plan better and use my time more efficiently.

All of us have time management problem, especially when most of us have either a part time job or full time job. We never seem to be able to accommodate school and works at the same time. I think it would be easier if you divide up your works and do little by little according to deadlines and study little by little whenever you are free. I know it sounds impossible but I sort of manage it this way and it works out for me so it might help you as well. And plus you're only a few semesters away from graduating, you'll be fine. -Chen
P.S you spelled session wrong. :D
I deal with the same at times too. When I have a little too much free time I end up procrastinating studying until the last minute. I just can't focus and keep telling myself oh I still have time to do it later, so I just keep postponing it. One of the ways that has been helpful in dealing with this issue is if I know I'll have some free time, then I'll try create my own deadline and try to get it done during the free time instead of leaving it till the last minute and stressing about it.
I understand exactly where you’re coming from. I used to have serious "time management issues" (more like procrastination issue) before I gained more responsibility at work. When I gained more responsibility I no longer had time to procrastinate with schoolwork and realized that I had to give up some of my free time. That meant less time on the computer, less time on the phone, and less time watching TV. This was a hard task for a chronic procrastinator like myself but with a little self discipline its very achievable.
I’m having the exact same problem as you. The best thing you can do is try your best not to procrastinate. Whenever I have free time I end up not studying and then all of the work piled on. Once it got to be too much I realized that something needed to be done. It really gave me some self discipline. Whenever you have free time try to do a little work here and there and before you know it you’ll be up to date on your work.
